Midtown is the heart of the city and we pray that men and women from many different backgrounds that love Jesus and are motivated to do good works because of the gospel.

THE CHURCH WAS BIRTHED WITH THE IDEA OF UNITY IN DIVERSITY. WE PURSUE BEING MULTI-ETHNIC BECAUSE IT IS A REPRESENTATION OF NOT ONLY WHAT WE SEE IN THE BIBLE, BUT WHAT WE SEE IN OUR CITY.

About THE COGDELL'S
A Church planter. An Educator. A Superhero Addict and a Toddler Socialite.
Byron is passionate about Jesus and His Mission. Every ministry that he and his family serve in reflect that passion. After pursuing a call to church planting and pastoral ministry, he and his family moved to Memphis, TN. to be trained and developed through the Fellowship Memphis' Pastoral Residency Program. After completing the residency, the Cogdell's transitioned back to their home Daytona to plant a gospel-centered, disciple-making, connecting church. Byron has a Bachelors of Arts in Public Relations and is completing his Masters of Biblical & Theological Studies from Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando, FL.
Identity Church is being planted and sent out by Christ Community Church in Daytona Beach, FL. We are also being supported by Fellowship Memphis and have been trained by the
Fellowship Associates Leadership Residency.
