Our First Vision Gathering (@ Christ Community Church)

Over three years ago,  Byron sat down with the pastor of a church that had been planted in Daytona Beach 30+ years ago about the vision for a multi-ethnic church being planted in the Midtown area of the city.

Three years later we are able to share our hearts in a deeper way with people who are interested in being a part of the process of us planting. On Sunday, May 6th, we hosted the first gathering to share all of the vision for Identity Church and how we plan on seeing the vision come to pass.

We went into the meeting expecting around 25 people to attend and we were very surprised to have 45 people there. The meeting lasted for about an hour and a half, and once we opened up the floor for questions, we had lots of engagement. We had the opportunity to go into further detail on our philosophy of ministry while answering questions and yet we were deeply encouraged by the attendees belief in our training, our partnership with Christ Community Church and the vision.

Out of the 45 people who came, 14 of them showed interest being a part of the team that will be at the core of planting and launching Identity Church. Many others indicated that they want to support us through prayer of financial support. We are overjoyed by the support that we've gotten from those at Christ Community Church and our vision gathering gave us even more confidence.

Our second Vision Gathering will be hosted Friday, May 11, 2018 at the Yvonne Scarlett Golden Center in Daytona Beach from 6:00-8:00pm. We'd love for you to join and hear more about how you may be able to help us planting Identity Church.
